Terms & Conditions

These terms set out the agreement between you and us whenever you use your account at Regal Casino. They cover who may register, the checks we carry out, how deposits, withdrawals and bonuses work, the safer gambling tools available to you, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Accepting these terms, and changes we make to them

By registering an account, depositing money or placing a stake on this site, you confirm that you have read these terms, that you understand them and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to any part of them, please do not use the site.

These terms apply together with our privacy policy, our bonus terms and the rules of each individual game, which are shown in the information panel inside the game. Where a promotion carries its own terms, those terms apply to that promotion in addition to the ones on this page. If there is a conflict, the terms of the specific promotion or game rule take priority for that offer or that game only.

We may change these terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change in the law or in our regulatory obligations, a change to the payment methods we support, or a change to the way the site and your account work. Where a change is material, we will tell you by e-mail or by a notice on the site before it takes effect.

If you continue to use your account after a change has taken effect, you accept the updated terms. If you would rather not accept them, you can ask us to close your account and withdraw any remaining balance, subject to the checks described below.

The version that applies

The terms published on this page are the ones that apply to your account. If you keep your own copy, please check this page from time to time, because an older copy may be out of date.

Eligibility and your account with us

We hold a gaming licence, and we are required to confirm the age and identity of every customer we accept. You may only open and use an account if all of the following are true.

  • You are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. Underage gambling is unlawful, and we treat any attempt at it as a serious breach of these terms.
  • You are resident in the United Kingdom. This site is intended for players here, and some games or payment methods may not be available depending on where you are.
  • You are opening the account in your own name, for your own use, and not on behalf of anyone else.
  • You hold one account only. Where we find more than one account held by the same person, household, e-mail address or payment method, we may close the duplicates.
  • The details you give us are accurate and complete, and you keep them up to date in your account if they change.
  • You are not currently registered with a self-exclusion scheme, including GamStop, and you are not subject to a self-exclusion you have agreed with us.

Keeping your login details safe

You are responsible for your username, password and any other security details on your account. Please do not share them, and please do not let anyone else play through your account. Choose a password you do not use elsewhere, and sign out on shared devices.

Activity carried out through your account is treated as yours. If you think someone else has used your account, or that your details are no longer secure, tell us as soon as you can through live chat or at support@casinoregal.co.uk. We may suspend access while we look into it.

Checks we carry out before you withdraw

We must complete verification of your identity, age and address before your first withdrawal is paid. We may also repeat or extend these checks at any point while your account is open, and we may do so before allowing further deposits or play.

  • Photographic identification showing your name and date of birth.
  • Proof of your address, dated within the period we tell you when we ask for it.
  • Proof that the payment method you have used belongs to you.
  • Information about your source of funds, where we are required to ask for it.

We ask about source of funds where deposits or play reach the thresholds we are obliged to apply, or where activity on an account does not match the information we already hold. These checks protect you, and they help us meet our obligations on money laundering and on preventing gambling harm.

While a check is open we may pause withdrawals, deposits, play, or all three. We complete checks as quickly as we reasonably can, we ask only for what we need, and we handle every document as described in our privacy policy.

False information

Giving us details that are not true, or sending documents that do not belong to you, is a breach of these terms. Where that happens we may close the account and withhold winnings. Where an account turns out to belong to someone under 18, all stakes are void and we return deposits only.

Deposits, withdrawals and bonus play

Deposits

The methods we accept, the minimum and maximum amounts and any processing times are shown in the cashier. Funds must come from a payment method held in your own name. We do not offer credit, we do not accept credit cards, and your balance is not a bank account: we pay no interest on it, and it is held for play rather than for storage.

Withdrawals

  1. Make sure verification is complete, so that payment is not held up.
  2. Request the withdrawal in the cashier, within the limits shown there.
  3. Where possible, we return funds to the same method you used to deposit.
  4. Where that method cannot receive payments, we use an alternative in your own name.
  5. We may hold a payment while a check is open, and we will tell you if we need anything from you.

Bonuses and promotions

Every offer carries its own terms, published with the offer, and you should go through them before taking part. Those terms will normally cover the wagering requirement and how different games contribute to it, the maximum stake allowed while a bonus is active, how long the bonus and any winnings from it remain available, any cap on what can be converted to cash, and the order in which cash and bonus balances are used.

We may remove a bonus, remove winnings generated from it, or close an account where we see abuse of promotions. That includes holding more than one account, co-ordinated play between accounts, patterns of play designed only to clear wagering without genuine risk, and stakes placed solely to trigger an offer.

Safer gambling, and closing or suspending an account

Your account includes tools you can set at any time: deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, time-outs and self-exclusion. A new or lower limit applies straight away. A request to relax a limit takes effect only after the waiting period we are required to apply, and you can cancel it before then.

Self-exclusion closes your account for at least the minimum period available in the tool. During that time we block access, remove you from marketing and do not reopen the account early. Free, confidential support is also available from GambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline, and GamStop lets you exclude yourself from all online operators licensed in Great Britain in one step.

When an account is closed or suspended

  • You ask us to close it, or you self-exclude.
  • The account has been inactive for an extended period, after we have notified you at the address we hold.
  • You have breached these terms, held more than one account, or abused a promotion.
  • Verification has not been completed, or we have not received documents we have asked for.
  • We have reasonable concerns about gambling harm, about the security of the account, or about activity we are required to act on.

When an account closes, we return the remaining balance to a verified method in your own name, less any amount we are entitled to withhold under these terms. Where closure follows a breach, bonus funds and winnings from bonus funds may be removed.

Complaints, liability and the law that applies

If you are unhappy with something

Please contact us through live chat or at support@casinoregal.co.uk, with your account name, what happened and when. We acknowledge every complaint, look into it, keep you updated while we do, and give you a written outcome within a reasonable time.

If our final answer does not resolve matters, you can refer the complaint free of charge to the independent dispute resolution service we use for customer complaints. We tell you how to reach them in our final response, we share the information they ask for, and we accept the outcome as our obligations require.

Our liability

We provide the site with reasonable care and skill, but access depends on connections and services we do not fully control, so we cannot promise that the site will always be available or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

If a game, a display or a price is affected by an error or malfunction, the affected rounds are void and stakes are returned. An error does not entitle you to keep winnings that resulted from it. Where there is a disagreement about what happened in a game round, the records held on our systems are used to settle it. Gambling should be treated as entertainment, and you should stake only money you can afford to lose.

Governing law and general points

These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining parts continue to apply. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms, provided your rights are not reduced; you may not transfer your account to anyone else. These terms are written in English, and the English text is the one that applies.
